Dell computer won't detect Acer monitor?
My husband bought a dell computer tower at christmas he then bought a 19 inch flatscreen acer monitor to hook to it. We also hooked a kodak printer/scanner/copier to it. Around the first of the year the computer fried or something. It would only go to a blue screen and wouldn't even start up in safe mode. He sent the tower back and they sent us a new one, everything was unplugged while we waited on the new tower. He hooked it up to the monitor last night and now the monitor displays a message that says it's not detected. We tried our old (crummy but a dell) monitor and it works fine. Also the printer works but will not scan or copy anymore. Any ideas on what happened? Any ideas on how to fix this?!
